Suspended high above the street, three sculptural ravens by Musqueam artist Thomas Cannell watch over the building. Titled spa:l' (The Raven), the installation reflects the Raven's role in Musqueam culture as a transformer, trickster, and bringer of light  a symbol of humour, curiosity, and renewal.

Cannell's work, rendered in pierced aluminum with coloured inlays, embodies movement and spirit, connecting The Raven's contemporary form to the deep cultural history of this land.
