YOU ARE a cheerful, clean, tidy FEMALE BUSINESS Professional seeking PART-TIME accommodation up to 5 nights a week, weekdays (i.e. arrive Sunday night, depart Friday morning) with OCCASIONAL weekends as needed, e.g., to attend a conference. This is your 'pied a Terre' when attending Toronto-based offices weekdays during 'regular' office hours (i.e., you go out each morning for the day, rarely working from here, if at all). You are mature, e.g., the likes of "yo" and "hey" are not standard greetings. Although it is not expected that you maintain your room as picture perfect, it means a lot that you are someone who keeps even a loosely made bed. Suitable inquiries acknowledged promptly. REFER TO END OF AD for requisite information to provide in your response. First + last month's rent required. Deluxe ACCOMMODATION: Fully furnished, bright, tranquil cozy room in well-maintained 3-bedroom townhouse. Please provide your own towels + favourite pillow or 2, though bed coverings are included, e.g., sheets plus a cozy comforter to summer quilt and spare blanket. FURNISHINGS: Quality double bed (4-year-old mattress), modest dresser, large cupboard, nightstand & chair RENTAL also INCLUDES: Utilities include use of laundry (provide your own laundry products) Housekeeping monthly though you routinely wash your towels and the bed linens (also see "NOTE" below) Wireless internet Pots, pans, utensils and dishes, plus small amounts of herbs and spices herb garden, too Use of roof deck and BBQ while enjoying a stellar view of the city - $2 per use for propane. THE REST OF THE HOUSE: We'll share 1400 sq. ft. 1.5 bathrooms - main floor powder room + full bath on 2nd floor as shown Large exclusive-use roof deck garden, front porch, fireplace, in-suite laundry, hardwood floors, central A/C (humidifier + electro-static air filter), large comfy sofa that can also serve as a single bed for the OCCASIONAL overnight visitor -- it also hides a pull-out queen bed Main floor open concept LR to DR and a kitchen with breakfast bar Smokers may do so outside (front porch and/or roof deck) ABOUT THE LOCATION + Parking options PEACEFUL, well-maintained, private townhouse complex only steps to the King streetcar, 2 blocks west of Bathurst. A plethora of spas, restaurants and more are within easy walking distance. Pharmacy and several grocery options steps or blocks away, plus nearby Walk-In clinic. OCCASIONAL free outdoor parking on-site 1 to 2 days a week. Otherwise, street parking within yards or garage rentals are available from time to time at about $165+/- per month. COMPLEX AMENITIES: SAUNA + a fully equipped GYM that is clean and safe w/a view, both are accessible 24/7 in ground-level 'sister' condo building steps down the private laneway. NEW ping pong table. SECURITY GUARD walks the grounds several times nightly + there is on-site management M-F, 9 to 5 as well as lots of great neighbours! VISITORS: VISITORS are welcome including OCCASIONAL overnight guests, e.g., a couple of days for an out-of-town visitor for $20/night Please include the following in your reply: 1. Desired start date the room is available xxx.01.2024 2. End date if known MIN. 12 months, though LONG-TERM PREFERRED. I respectfully request that you give 2 months' notice when the time comes to leave; longer if known. 3. City/town where you otherwise reside (i.e., your "permanent" address/mailing address where you can't wait to spend weekends with family and friends) 4. Your profession 5. Location of your office, e.g., nearest major intersection NOTE: This is NOT a "rooming house", e.g., we share light housework between housekeeper visits, e.g., Swiffer upstairs (5 min.) and contribute $65 annually to household products. While it is preferable that you dine in the kitchen or dining room rather than in your room, it's your call. And although it is not expected that we will become best friends, I hope we will share the occasional meal together (I'm a pretty good cook)! Thank you for visiting!
