The Heights neighborhood runs from I-10 and goes up to 610. East-west streets are numbered, while north-south streets are named after historic colleges. Both sides of Heights Boulevard are separated by a spacious greenway full of mature, shade-giving trees that offer great walking trails other than the sidewalks. Along that hike and bike trail, there are sculptures, placards and memorials to offer insight into the history of the neighborhood.
