Offered for sale for the first time, this distinctive Flye Point property occupies a private and peaceful setting along one of Brooklin's most coveted coastal roads. Currently configured with five bedrooms and three baths, the home enjoys views toward Tinker Island and Mount Desert Island, with deeded access to a semi-private sandy beach directly across the road. The residence has a character that feels distinctly Brooklina€”creative, understated, and deeply connected to its surroundings. The six-sided main house was designed with both light and art in mind, with abundant windows balanced by generous wall space for displaying a collection. A beautiful central staircase anchors the interior, while three intimate porches offer different perspectives of the surrounding landscape and water throughout the day. Generous living spaces, two-car garage, a thoughtfully designed kitchen with gas cooktop, a wood-burning stove, and a separate artist's studio make the home equally suited to everyday living, gathering, and creative work. Outside, mature landscaping and established gardens surround the home, creating an exceptional sense of privacy. A swimming pool provides a natural gathering place through the summer months, while just across the way, the stairs to the beach offer an easy connection to the deepwater ocean and sweeping views toward the islands beyond. Private yet connected to the coast, this is a rare combination of thoughtful architecture, water views, beach access, a pool, established grounds, and a history and sense of place all its owna€”a special opportunity to become the next steward of a longtime Flye Point home. The existing septic system was designed for 3bedroom capacity, prior to an addition of 2 bedrooms some years later.
