This two family at 17-23 Eastern has been standing since 1866, and a full gut renovation in 2013 brought it current without stripping out what made it worth saving in the first place. Both units carry ocean and river views, which is rarer than it should be for a property at this price point. The first floor runs three bedrooms and one bath, the second floor two bedrooms and one bath, and each unit gets its own stretch of the wraparound porch. Mornings with coffee facing the water, evenings watching the boats come in off the marina. Four parking spaces settle the question that trips up most Camp Ellis buyers. This has been a consistent rental property, with potential to grow. Whether the plan is owner-occupy one unit and rent the other, or run it as a full investment, the location does a lot of the selling on its own. Camp Ellis Beach, the marina, and the jetty are all just steps away. Properties in Camp Ellis don't sit long, and water views on both units make this one worth moving on.
