I'm looking for a roommate for an upstairs 2-room setup in a large 3,050 sq ft home in Hunters Glen, Thornton, near 128th Ave and Washington St. You'll have two private rooms plus your own full bathroom. Use one as your bedroom and the other as an office, gaming room, hobby space, home gym, dressing room, or whatever else you want. It's basically your own little section of the house without having to pay for an entire place yourself. The rest of the house is shared with me and one other roommate and has a huge kitchen and dining area, spacious living room, additional first-floor office, massive backyard and deck, tons of storage, and a dedicated laundry room with a large washer/dryer, sink, racks and shelving. The house also has central A/C and heating, a whole-house fan for those perfect Colorado nights, garage/driveway/street parking, and access to the neighborhood HOA clubhouse and pool. Rent is $1,167/month. Internet is $40/month for unlimited gigabit service. The landlord covers everything else except Xcel gas/electric, which is typically around $150–300/month for the whole house depending on the season, so your share is generally around $50–100/month. Pets are welcome regardless of size for $25/month per pet, subject to the landlord's maximum. I'm in my late 20s, work full-time, and spend a lot of my free time at the gym, gaming, and generally staying active. I'm pretty laid-back at home and looking for someone who is responsible, respectful, and ideally into fitness, gaming, outdoor activities, or just generally staying active. Military/veteran backgrounds are absolutely welcome. I'm fine with friends coming over, drinking, gaming, and overnight guests. Just give me a heads-up for bigger get-togethers. Vaping and legal cannabis products that don't involve smoking are fine, but smoking isn't permitted by the landlord. Minimum 12-month lease, with no maximum. Move-in is simply first month's rent plus one month's rent as the security deposit. The landlord requires a 650+ credit score and the household needs to meet a $7,000/month combined income requirement. There's also a separate large finished-basement space available in the same house, so if you're looking for a place with a friend, we can potentially accommodate both of you.
