Shared living/roommate for rent

Overview

Seeking a quiet and mature short-term roommate for my apartment in Ridgewood. It is the entire second floor of a two-family home; the landlady lives below with her mother and is wonderful. There is garden access, but no off street parking. The room: easily fits a queen sized bed with room for more furnishings ; will be unfurnished but I can provide a couple things (desk, chair, rug -- no mattress). Has a split unit for both heat and AC. Gets great light all day long. The apt: my room is on the opposite side, so you will have great privacy. There are several closets and I'd be happy to let you take one as there isn't one in the room. Everything is newly renovated and very clean and bright. Big tub in the bathroom :) Me: I'm a seasoned hospitality professional beginning a career in plant science and maintenance. I work around 6 days a week, and my downtime at the apartment is usually late mornings and late nights. I cook often and invite you to use the kitchen as I have all the fun tools and such. I tend to do my own thing at home, and am looking for someone who I can socialize with in passing, but ultimately leads a separate life from me. I speak English and Portuguese. You: I'm preferring someone closer in age or older, with an established rhythm and job. Mindfulness of the space is important to me; I encourage you to really enjoy the space as you like, but be clean and respectful of it. You know, normal adult stuff. Clean up after yourself, but I know life happens and sometimes we have to leave a mess or two. 4/20 friendly (I smoke weed), but please no hard drugs in the apt. Whatever you do outside is totally up to you.
