This rental is for SEPTEMBER 1st, 2026. It is for a CONCORDIA STUDENT ONLY, preferably a female.My home is just 4 blocks from Concordia University and I'm looking for a quiet student to rent a ROOM for this coming school year. Your room is in the basement and it is bright and clean, and you will have your OWN kitchenette as well. The bathroom is completely yours. There is a TV room outside your bedroom which you can use; the space would be yours with cable TV and a Netflix profile in your name. There is unlimited internet/wifi. Utilities are included.The entrance is a shared one at the back door but once you head downstairs, your kingdom awaits. You are the only person living in the basement. (There is a second bedroom down there, but it is empty and locked for the year while my son is away.) Laundry is downstairs as well.I will be coming down to access laundry, as well as a couple storage rooms every so often. I really don't come down that often, and you won't hear much of me upstairs either.Here's the kicker: I am a very quiet person and I am only interested in renting to someone who wants a quiet environment as well. My home is my sanctuary (I teach junior high--can you blame me for wanting quiet in my evenings?!) and I hope that you value the same for yourself. I do not allow you to have guests over, so if you are a socialite, I'm sorry but you will have to go elsewhere to meet up. I also do not allow alcohol, drugs of any kind (including marijuana), or smoking/vaping. Quiet time is by 9:30pm. How you keep your bedroom is your business, but the kitchen, bathroom and living room must be kept neat. I will be picky about who I share my home with, and will only rent to the perfect fit. If all the rules and restrictions are too much for you, I totally respect your needs for something that will suit you better and this probably won't work out. If you are ok with those conditions, then you could be that good fit! : )Allergy alert: There is a delightful, medium-sized dog (never barks!) that lives upstairs with me and stays upstairs. She is super friendly though.Available for September 1st. Terms of lease will be by semester, but I am really hoping it works for the school year.If you rent here and like it, and would like to stay for the next school year, I will happily let you leave all of your belongings over the summer and not charge you anything, It would be less moving for when you come back in the fall.  : )$450 damage deposit, and references, please.Please message me if you have any questions!
