Henry Farm has a dynamic population, and is popular with recent immigrants, families with kids under 5, families with kids aged 5 to 9, people in their 20s, people in their 30s, and people in their 40s. Henry Farm is located just north of Highway 401 and west of Highway 404. It is named after George Stewart Henry who was the tenth Premier of Ontario from 1930-34. Ten days before his death in 1958, Henry sold his farm for $2 million to the developers of the present-day neighbourhood. Henry Farm was developed into a housing subdivision in the 1960s.
